In 2023 I had the honor of working on the design and implementation of this box set containing Pharoah and Harvest Time Live 1977 by Pharoah Sanders, a musician whom I have long admired and whose legacy I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to amplify.

With Pharoah Sanders’ blessing, this box set presents the definitive, remastered version of Pharoah, his seminal record from 1977, along with two previously unreleased live performances of his masterpiece “Harvest Time.” An accompanying 24-page booklet includes a treasure trove of rarely seen photographs, archival materials, interviews with many of the participants, and a conversation with Pharoah himself.

I designed and did the layout for all parts of this package, including remaking the original record sleeve from a scan and plotting out the embossing over the branches. The bonus parts inside were also designed by me, and it was my idea to showcase the photos of Pharoah in a reimagined photo envelope.
