this artwork took approximately a year to complete. i was gifted the circular mirror by a studio mate, and then made a template to follow of a spherized ‘flower of life’ symbol. i then found faces in my collage materials to fit within the small shapes that comprise the flower of life. the title is taken from a buddhist exercise in which one sees every sentient being compassionately as one’s parent.
